CLAREMONT, Calif. --- California Baptist University's distance track competed in the Rossi Relays Saturday afternoon.

CBU had the men compete in the 3k, as the women competed in the 3k, 4x400 relay, and 4x800 relay.

On the men side, there were 48 runners that ran in the 3k. CBU put all three runners in the top 10. Sergio Rodriguez won the event with a time of 8:45.82. Trevor Henson took third with a time of 8:54.80, and Javier Madrid finished eighth and ran a 9:03.14.

Meanwhile, on the women's side, Kayla Beaudoin finished 12^th with a time of 10:57.51. Rebecca Asplund took 14^th and ran a 10:59.62, while Bethany Bilton ran an 11:04.78 and finished 15^th. Hanna Ingulsrud finished 38^th with an 11:32.25, and Bailee Sawyer ran a 12:02.02 and finished 48^th.

There were 53 runners that competed in the 3k.

CBU took 21^st in the 4x400 relay with a time of 4:15.21; there were 29 teams that ran in this event. In the 4x800 relay the Lancers took 10^th with a time of 10:02.12; there were 17 teams in this event.

The distance track team will compete next on Friday Mar. 9^th at the Ben Brown Invitational.
