RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- With 20 intercollegiate athletic teams and multiple championship titles and All-Americans, California Baptist University's athletics program is one of the most distinguished in the nation.

In its first year in the NCAA Division II Pacific West Conference, the Lancers are making a big splash with championships in men's and women's cross country and women's soccer and the potential to win another in men's soccer Saturday. In addition to that, nine different athletes have garnered PacWest Player of the Week honors.
