•    Graduated in 2009 from Clovis (Calif.) High, where he played three years of varsity water polo
•    Named All-Tri River Athletic Conference and all-valley first team as a senior and second team as a junior
•    Helped lead the Cougars to back-to-back CIF Division I Central Section championships
•    Played for a team that went 55-7 overall and 18-2 in conference play.
