RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- California Baptist University has announced the installation of its new lighting fixtures at the John C. Funk softball stadium and with it a handful of time changes to its game schedule.
The $135,000 project will allow the Lancers to be able to compete under the lights in their quest to defend their national title. The revised schedule will effect the start times for multiple games including next week’s season-opening Lancer Invitational.
To celebrate the completion of the project, CBU Athletics in conjunction with Institutional Advancement will host a lighting ceremony Thursday, Feb. 4 prior to the start of the 5:30 p.m. game against Bethany.
