Position:

Marc Machado begins his second season as an assistant to Head Coach Lane Pace.

Prior to coming to CBU, Machado spent a year as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor for the Carolyn E Wylie Center serving the community and youth. He also spent a year as an Autism Behavioral Therapist for the Carolyn E Wylie Center.

Machado played four years at Point Loma Nazarene University where he was a two-time Sportsmanship Award winner (2008, 2009). He led the Sea Lions to the NAIA National Championships in 2007, 2008 and 2009. In 2009, Machado averaged 76.36 and was named to the Ping-NAIA West All-Region Team.

His best finish was in The Grand Canyon University Spring Invitational in 2007 where he recorded scores of 70, 72, 69 for a 211 total (-5)

Machado earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2009 and received his Master's of Science Degree in Professional Counseling: Marriage and Family Therapy from California Baptist University in 2011.

His brother, Micah, is currently a Junior on the CBU Men's golf team.

Machado and his wife, Reba, were recently married on October 1, 2011. Reba is entering her first hear as an adjunct professor here at CBU.
