RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- No. 1 California Baptist University will look to close out its historic run in the Golden State Athletic Conference with a third-straight postseason tournament title, as the Lancers host the tournament starting Tuesday.

After winning an unprecedented eighth-straight regular-season conference title this year, the Lancers host the third installment of the postseason tournament in their final year as a member of the GSAC. Started in 2009, the Lancers are the only program to ever win the GSAC tournament crown.

A “play-in” game between Biola and Vanguard opens tournament play Tuesday at 5 p.m. CBU then takes on the winner of the “play-in” game in a first-round, best-of-three series. The winner of that series will face the winner of second-seed Azusa Pacific and either Concordia or Hope International, a first-round series which will take place in Azusa, Calif. The championship best-of-three series begins Thursday at 5 p.m.

Each round of postseason action can be seen live on cbulancers.com. Fans can purchase each round separately for $7.95 or buy an entire tournament package for $9.95. An “if necessary” championship series game on Friday will be an audio only broadcast.

Fans can sign up for the broadcasts and follow all the action on the tournament central page by clicking on the link above.
