GREENVILLE, S.C. --- California Baptist University had three players named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tires National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Women's Soccer All-America Team, which has been released.

Seniors Fabiola Zanella da Silva and Kylee Nicassio were named to the 14-member first team, while goalkeeper Nicoline Jorgensen was named to the second team.

The Lancers won the 2011 NCCAA National Championship two weeks ago in their first season in the association.

da Silva is the program's only three-time All-American first team honoree having earned NAIA honors in 2009 and 2010. Nicassio earned NAIA second team honors in 2010. It is Jorgensen's first-ever national postseason honor.

Nicassio and da Silva were first and second in the PacWest in points and goals, while da Silva led the PacWest in assists. They were both named to the NCCAA All-Tournament team, while da Silva was named the tournament's most outstanding player. Jorgensen, who led the PacWest in goals against average and shutouts, was also named all-tournament as well.

The Lancers also won the PacWest title in their first year in the NCAA Division II conference. CBU finished the season an all-time program-best 18-2-1, which culminated in the program's first-ever national championship.
