PHOENIX, Ariz. --- California Baptist University's Kylee Nicassio was named Pacific West Conference Newcomer of the Year and Kimberly Allard was named Freshman of the Year headlining a list of five Lancers who were named to the 2011 All-PacWest Women's Soccer Team, which has been announced by the conference office.

The All-PacWest Team was selected by the head coaches in the conference and includes a first team, second team and those receiving honorable mention. Five Lancers were voted to the first team. No other team had more than three.

Nicassio leads the PacWest with 13 goals and 32 points, while Allard is second with 28 points, tied for third with 10 goals and tied for the PacWest lead with eight assists.

In addition to Nicassio and Allard, Nicoline Jorgensen was named co-Goalkeeper of the Year along with Carianne Makino of Hawaii Pacific.

Jorgensen, meanwhile, leads the PacWest with a 0.64 goals against average, which is currently the best single-season total in program history. She also leads the PacWest with eight shutouts.

Fabiola Zanella da Silva and Kristen Witchey also were named to the first team.

da Silva is also tied with Allard for the conference lead with eight assists and is tied for second with Allard with 28 points. She is third with 10 goals. Witchey has a goal and an assist, but more importantly has anchored a defense at center back that leads the PacWest in fewest goals allowed (11), goals against average (0.60) and shutouts (11).

Amanda Lammers and Kitra Walters both received honorable mention.

CBU Head Coach Kristen St. Clair was named PacWest Coach of the Year. St. Clair has led the Lancers to a remarkable 15-2-1 season, which includes a 10-1-1 record and the program's first-ever PacWest title in their first season in the conference. She has also led the Lancers to the NCCAA National Championships Nov. 30-Dec. 3.

Grand Canyon's Marina Nesic was named PacWest Player of the Year for the second straight year.
