RIVERSIDE, Calif. - California Baptist University Director of Athletics Dr. Micah Parker has announced the resignation of Head Men's and Women's Volleyball Coach Ryan McGuyre, effective immediately.

McGuyre recently completed his 10th season at the helm of the Lancer women's program, leading the Lancers to the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Championship. He also led the Lancers to the 2004 and 2005 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Championships. He compiled a 275-96 record in 10 seasons at the helm.

On the men's side, McGuyre led the Lancers to six NAIA National Invitational Championships in nine seasons and a 206-70 career record.

"We wish Ryan the best in his future endeavors," said Parker. A national search will begin immediately.
