The win is the Lancers' third straight and 12th in the past 14 games as they improve to 24-6 overall.
The Toros fall to 8-18.
The Lancers jumped out to a 10-3 lead after seven innings and then had to hold off a strong Toro charge as CSUDH battled back and got the tying run to the plate in the ninth. Cody Wetherbee, though, got pinch-hitter Nick Plantz to ground out to second to get his second save of the year.
Odom was 2-for-4. He had an RBI single in the second to give CBU a 2-1 lead, and then with the Lancers leading 4-3 in the sixth, he smacked a three-run shot over the left center field fence off Toro starter Sean Wardour (2-3) to give the Lancers a 7-3 advantage.
Matt Marnati led off the seventh inning with a double down the right field line and later scored on an RBI single by Blair Moore to make it 8-3. It was Marnati's 200th career hit, making him just the seventh player in program history with at least 200 hits.
After a Zach Esquerra sacrifice bunt, Crowley delivered a two-RBI single to right to give the Lancers their 10-3 lead.
Jesse Arreola (2-3) got the win in relief, allowing just one run and striking out five in 3.2 innings. The Toros got within 10-4 in the eighth and then tagged Andy Abrams for five hits and three runs in the ninth before Wetherbee slammed the door.
Matt Daugherty was 3-for-5 with three runs. Esquerra had two RBIs. The Lancers had 11 hits.
The teams conclude their mini two-game series Saturday in Riverside. First pitch is scheduled for Noon.
