GREENVILLE, S.C. --- California Baptist University had three players named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tires National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Men's Soccer All-America Team, which has been released.

Senior Osvaldo Bastida and freshman Michael Salazar were named to the 14-member first team. Carlos Figueroa was named to the second team.

The Lancers won the 2011 NCCAA National Championship two weeks ago in their first season in the association.

Bastida, who was named All-PacWest first team earlier this year, was fifth in the PacWest in points (26) and fourth with 11 goals. He finished in the top 20 in the NCCAA in points per game (23rd-1.39) and goals per game (18th-0.61).

Salazar, the PacWest Freshman of the Year and All-PacWest second team, was 15th in the NCCAA in points per game (1.53) and 20th in goals per game (0.60). He scored both goals in the Lancers' 2-1 win over Geneva in the NCCAA National Championship victory.

Figueroa, who earned NAIA All-American honors in 2010, spearheaded a defense that was second in the NCCAA with a 0.82 goals against average to go along with seven shutouts.

The Lancers also won the PacWest title in their first year in the NCAA Division II conference. CBU finished the season an all-time program-best 17-5-1, which culminated in the program's first-ever national championship.
