CBU's slate features eight intercollegiate tournaments including its first ever conference championship as it will compete in the PacWest tournament after the conference added women's golf this season.

"We have a very challenging schedule ahead of us this year and we are looking forward to the tests," said Pace. "It's wonderful to be a part of the PacWest now and we look forward to competing in the conference tournament."

The PacWest has yet to set a site for the conference championship, but will be holding the event somewhere in the San Francisco Bay area, April 22-23. The Lancers are also scheduled to compete in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Tournament, Oct. 22-23, in Panama City Beach, Fla. CBU took second at the NCCAA tournament last season.

The Lancers' slate features three tournaments in the fall and then five more when play resumes in the spring. CBU travels out of state five times overall, competing in the aforementioned NCCAA tournament as well as trips to Phoenix, Ariz., Jacksonville, Fla. and Albuquerque, N.M.

"Having a real home tournament this season will be great for us as well," said Pace, whose team hosts the Glenn Ivy Intercollegiate in Corona, Calif., Feb. 24-25.

"We just want to continue to build towards success with this season with hopes of being relevant on the conference level and ultimately on the national level next season," said Pace.

CBU is currently in its third year of the NCAA Division II membership process and hopes to be a full NCAA member by the start of the 2013-14 season. The Lancers are currently ineligible for NCAA Championships, but can compete for conference titles.
