Nathalie Silva finished fourth individually, shooting 76 in the final round as the only Lancer to score in the 70's on the final day.
"This season is a work in progress," said Head Coach Lane Pace. "We did some things right today, but we just weren't consistent enough in our scoring to make a run at the lead. It's all about the work we put in beforehand, that's what's going to get us where we want to be."
The Lancers started the day where they began it in third, finishing with a 325. CBU's 647 (322-325) was six strokes behind Victoria (641) in second and 12 behind Cal State San Marcos (635) in first.
Nicollette Gino also finished in the Top 10 individually for CBU, shooting a 160 (79-81) to finish eighth. Samantha Roberts shot 166 (85-81) and Kirsten Keyser shot 167 (80-87) to round out the scoring for CBU.
Silva was second in Par 4 scoring playing them eight over for the tournament and she and Keyser were even on the Par 5's.
"Nathalie had a pretty good couple of tournaments," said Pace. "We can usually count on her for those score, we just need a couple more like it. This team is definitely capable of having more players in the 70's and near the top of the leaderboard."
The Lancers play in the Lady Otter Spring Invitational Apr. 16-17 next.
