Completed in 2007, the multi-million dollar Lancer Outdoor Athletic Complex is home to the California Baptist baseball and softball stadiums. The complex includes a host of changes and state-of-the-art upgrades to the current baseball and softball facilities, which have made the facility one of the finest in Southern California.
As part of the entire project, the surrounding area has been nicely landscaped, lighted and paved. Two new main entrances were constructed, one located by the left field line at the softball field and the other behind home plate at the baseball field, and both entrances include a ticket booth.

As part of the more than $2 million project, the James W. Totman Baseball Stadium has seating for more than 800 spectators, which includes chair-back seating behind the plate and additional seating along the third base line, next to the visitor’s dugout. Both dugouts are brand new and include increased size as well as an Astroturf surface and a phone that connects to the bullpen and press box. The press box is also upgraded and includes state-of-the-art technology, which allows all home games to be streamed live on the Internet with an audio and video feed.
Additionally, a new covered instructional area has been constructed. This area houses a new batting cage as well as the bullpen pitching mounds. Also, a new 36-foot Daktronics LED scoreboard has been erected in left-center field.

The John C. Funk Softball Stadium has also undergone significant upgrades. Much like the baseball facility, the complex received a seating upgrade and now holds nearly 500 spectators, including new seating along the third base line. Both dugouts are new and bigger and include the same Astroturf surface.
The press box also includes state-of-the-art technology, and the instructional area includes a covered batting cage and bullpen.
In addition, the softball facility includes a brand new team room, housing lockers and coaches’ offices just behind the home plate seating area. Public restrooms are next to the team room.
