RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- California Baptist University's women's swimming and diving program was honored recently with the Team Scholar All-American Award.
The honor was announced by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America and is given to teams that maintain above a 3.0 GPA.
CBU had a 3.19 team GPA last Fall, the 10th best of any team in NCAA Division II. The Lancers were one of 17 teams honored.
The CBU women earned the award for the Fall 2011 semester.
The Lancers completed their season in February, finishing second at the PCSC Championships behind only No. 1-ranked UC San Diego.
