PHOENIX, Ariz. --- California Baptist University's Mitchell Moore earned his second Pacific West Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week honor this season.
The PacWest Office announced the honor Monday morning for the races contested on Saturday, Oct. 1.
The PacWest has honored seven different Lancers, Moore and Ingrid Carmona are the only Lancers to be named twice.
Moore finished ninth at the 8k Charles Bowles Invitational at Willamette University in Salem, Ore. He led the charge for the Lancers with a time of 24:34.05, finishing first among the CBU runners. The Lancers finished third out of 15 teams.
Moore broke his personal record and moved up to fourth on the program's top individual time list. Moore was 12 seconds shy of breaking the number one spot in program history.
Trevor Henson, Victor Delgado, Chris Cline, Mark Langworthy, Javier Madrid and Sergio Rodriguez all earned a spot on the PacWest Men's Cross Country Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll.
