•    Wrestled one season for head coach Mike Tellez at Rio Hondo College in Whittier, Calif.
•    Was a state qualifier and helped the Roadrunners to the 2010 Western State Conference title

HIGH SCHOOL
•    Prepped three varsity seasons at Alta Loma (Calif.) High., graduating in 2009
•    Was a two-time Baseline League Champion and two-time CIF qualifier, finishing third as a senior after losing to the eventual champion in the semifinals
•    Posted 94 wins in three seasons
•    Also played three seasons of football

OTHER
•    Born Dec. 6, 1990, in Fontana, Calif., to John and Doreen Meza
•    Has two brothers (Joseph and Joshua)
•    Majoring in psychology with a minor in communication
