RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- Emma Holden and Mara Rodriguez swept the PacWest weekly awards Tuesday after helping the Lancers to an 8-0 record last week.

Holden was named the conference's Pitcher of the Week and Rodriguez was named Player of the Week for their play April 16-22. The Lancers swept four game series with BYU-Hawaii and Academy of Art during that time.

Holden made five appearances, getting five wins on four starts and one relief appearance. Holden tossed a no-hitter against BYU-Hawaii and allowed just 17 hits overall in 29.2 innings pitched. She also struck out a total of 53 batters and allowed just five walks. She also gave up just five runs for a 0.94 ERA.

Rodriguez started all eight games last week for the Lancers going 16 for 32 at the plate for a .500 average. Rodriguez drove in a total of 13 runs and scored 10 as well, smacking four home runs, five double and one triple. In a 4 for 5 game against BYU-Hawaii, Rodriguez hit for the cycle, driving in five runs in the process.

The Lancers now have won eight weekly awards this season. The honors come just a day after CBU locked up the PacWest Softball crown with a clinching win over Dominican on Monday.
