Amber McKee begins her second year as a member of the California Baptist University Athletic Training staff. McKee is the primary athletic trainer for men’s soccer and men’s volleyball, cross country and cheerleading.

In 2009, McKee was named Head Athletic Trainer.

McKee came to CBU by way of Lutheran High in Orange County, Calif., where she served as the head athletic trainer from 2005 through the summer of 2008. She worked with 17 different sports and taught students who were involved with the student athletic training program.

Before going to Orange Lutheran, McKee worked for her alma matter, Point Loma Nazarene, in 2004 as an assistant athletic trainer. She assisted in all 14 varsity sports with soccer and softball being her primary sports. McKee was the head athletic trainer at Montgomery High in Santa Rosa, Calif., from 2003-2004 and worked at the Ed Ayub Physical Therapy Clinic in 2003.

McKee earned a Bachelor of Arts in athletics training from Point Loma Nazarene in 2004. Also in 2004 McKee has her NATABOC certification and is CPR, First Aid and AED certified. In 2006 she became a Certified Instructor for Concordia Irvine ATEP.

McKee lives in Chino, Calif, with her husband Jason and they attend CrossPoint Church.
