A veteran of the aquatics industry for more than 26 years, Jack Engelschall has served as the California Baptist Director of Aquatics since July 2002. He is also director of one of the most successful age-group club programs in the Inland Empire.

Engelschall joined the Lancer staff in July 2000 as the Assistant Director of Aquatics and as an assistant water polo coach. From 1992-2000, he was the Director of Pool Operations at Pepperdine. While there, he also worked as the head counselor and swim coach for the Malibu Swim Camp from 1994-99.

He has also held jobs as the Assistant Aquatics Director at the Westlake Tennis and Swim Club (1988-92) and the assistant water polo coach at Calabasas (Calif.) High School (1986-88). From 1985-88, he was the head counselor and coach at Rick Rowland Sr.’s swim camps.

Engelschall played water polo and was a swimmer at Valley College in Van Nuys, Calif., and at Calabasas High School.

He and his wife, Emily, have two children, Casey and R.J.
