RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- The ACWPC released the 2012 NCAA Division II All-American teams Monday and two California Baptist University athletes were honored.

CBU's Petra Kovacs was named to the first team and Tania Acavedo earned second team honors.

Kovacs, a senior from Budapest, Hungary, led the Lancers in all major statistical categories this season, compiling 95 goals, 48 assists and 53 steals. Her 95 goals were the sixth best single season total in program history and her 48 assists were tied for fourth on the all-time list.

Acavedo, a senior from Riverside, was third on the team with 48 goals this season and was second in both assists (32) and steals (48).

Kovacs and Acavedo were each one of seven players named to their respective teams. The teams are made up of NCAA Division II athletes from across the country.
