The John C. Funk Softball Stadium is one of the nicest softball facilities in the Pacific West Conference. As part of the multi-million dollar renovation to the newly-created Lancer Outdoor Athletic Complex, the stadium received a significant seating upgrade and is able to hold nearly 500 spectators, including new seating along the third base line. Both dugouts are new and bigger and include an Astroturf surface. The press box also includes state-of-the-art technology, which allows for home games to be streamed on the Internet, while the instructional area includes a covered batting cage and bullpen.

In addition, a brand new team room, which includes lockers and coaches' offices just behind the home plate seating area, has been constructed. Public restrooms are next to the team room.

Also, as part of the entire remodeling project of the newly-created Lancer Outdoor Athletic Complex (which includes the softball stadium), the surrounding area is nicely landscaped, lighted and paved. Two new main entrances have been constructed, one located by the left field line at the softball field and the other behind home plate at the baseball field. Both entrances include a ticket booth.
