RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Baseball Scholar-Athletes, and two California Baptist University athletes earned the honor.
Ryan Cathers and Cole Bullard were among 228 baseball student-athletes from around the country to get recognized for their efforts in the classroom.
In order to qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
It is both Cathers' and Bullard's first such honor.
