RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) released its list of 2013 All-Americans and California Baptist University had two nods.

Laura Kocsis and Hannah Evans were each named to the second team as part of 14 NCAA Division II athletes honored.

“I’m very proud to see our young players being honored and making an impact,” said CBU Head Coach Jacob Medina. “Hannah and Laura both had great seasons and I think it says a lot about the future of this program that they are being recognized.”

Kocsis, a sophomore from Budapest, Hungary, led the Lancers with 79 goals this season and was fourth on the team with 31 assists. Both her 37 steals and 22 exclusions drawn were good for third on the squad.

Evans, a freshman out of Menifee, Calif., was right behind Kocsis with 75 goals this past year and she led the Lancers with 81 exclusions drawn. Evans also tallied 24 steals and 11 assists.
