TURLOCK, Calif. --- California Baptist University was unable to move up at the 40th Annual Hanny Stanislaus Invitational Tuesday, finishing where it started, in 13th place.

The Lancers shot a 327 on the final day to finish at 966 (317-322-327) for the tournament.

Micah Machado finished in the lead for CBU with a 239 (78-82-79), shooting the low round of the day on Tuesday.

Neil Hand (75-81-88) and Glenn Hakes (86-76-83) finished within a stroke of each other at 244 and 245, and O'Neill Cowan’s 248 (80-83-85) and Marshal McBroom’s 250 (84-86-80) rounded out the scores for CBU.

The Lancers were two strokes away from 12th place, but 17 strokes outside the Top 10.

Tournament host Cal State Stanislaus won the event, with an 888 (290-284-314), just barely holding on to edge out Cal State Monterey Bay (890).

CBU will be back in action next week as they travel to Phoenix for the PacWest Championship.
