RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- Just two nights after going five against No. 12 Hawaii, No. 11 California Baptist University took care of Harvard in straight sets Monday night.

The Lancers won 25-16, 25-17, 28-26 in the team's final non-conference matchup of the season.

CBU got the 3-0 win in just over an hour behind a solid .318 hitting percentage

The Lancers came out swinging in the opening game, blasting a .476 hitting percentage to cruise to a nine-point win. CBU committed just two errors in the game, while the Crimson had five.

The Lancers' error total crept up to five in the second game, but the result was the same as CBU ripped 13 kills in the 25-17 win. Six different Lancers scored in the second.

CBU used a 3-0 run midway through the third game to begin to put the Crimson away, taking a 14-10 lead. Despite a late run by the Crimson to tie it at 22-22, CBU held on for the win.

The teams traded points until Harvard took a 25-24 lead on a CBU error. Amir Lugo- Rodriguez evened things back up with a kill and CBU got a desperately needed block by Levi Cabral to go ahead 26-25.

After back to back service errors Jonathan Tuttle found the final kill of the night to give the Lancers the win 28-26.

Cabral led all players with 13 kills, hitting .308 along the way. Brett Anderson posted 30 assists and Aaron McCalmont ripped three aces.

CBU was out-blocked 6.5-6.0, but posted five less errors on the night.

Nick Madden led Harvard with 12 kills and Rob Lothman had eight digs.

The win moves the Lancers to .500 on the season at 11-11 and drops the Crimson to 12-6.
