RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- It will be a big week for basketball in the Van Dyne Gym, as California Baptist University hosts the National Christian College Athletic Association West Region playoffs.
CBU hosts Hope International on Tuesday at 5 p.m., and will host the final on Thursday at 5 p.m.
If the Lancers defeat Hope International on Tuesday, they will advance to the final on Thursday and face the winner of a game between Azusa Pacific and Point Loma. Admission is free to both games for all CBU students, faculty and staff (and their families). All other adults are $5 and students with ID and senior adults are $3. All children under 12 are free.
The Lancers are 27-5 all-time against Hope International and have won three straight against them, including a 71-53 win last season.
They are also 2-0 against Point Loma and 2-0 against Azusa Pacific this season.
