RIVERISDE, Calif. --- The sound of whistles will be heard all across campus today, Feb. 2, as California Baptist University hosts its first women's water polo tournament of the year.

The Lancer Mini Invite #1 begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Lancer Aquatics Center when CBU takes on CSU Northridge. The 0-5 Lancers look to make a splash against the No. 17 Matadors.

Later in the day, CBU goes head to head with the No. 6 team in the country, UC Irvine. It will be a tough test for the young Lancers, as the team is 4-14 all-time against CSUN and 2-15 against UC Irvine.

Games will be going on all day at the Lancer Aquatic Center as Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Concordia, CSU Bakersfield, CSUN, CSU San Bernardino, San Diego State and UCI visit.
