Derek Wedel had a strong day in the pool finishing first for CBU in the 1,650 free with a time of 16:22.55. Wedel also finished second in the 500 free with a time of (4:44.11) and third in the 200 fly (1:54.58).
Joshua Hanson placed second for the Lancers in the 100 back (53.37), 200 fly (1:54.16), and the 200 back (1:58.04).
Mike Perry finished second in the 50 free with a time of 21.43 and third in the 100 fly with a time of 50.39 for CBU.
Matthew Chong also had a solid day, finishing second in the 100 breast with a time of 1:00.07 and third in the 200 breast (2:13.62).
Brian Haney also had a notable race, placing second for CBU in the 400 IM (4:12.00).
Kendall Rummel scored a 196.35 on the 1M dive and a 216.52 on the 3M dive for the Lancers.
Molly Larson had an impressive first place finish in the 100 breast and clocked an outstanding time of 1:06.44. Larson also placed second in both the 200 breast (2:27.22) and the 400 IM (4:54.00).
Kyndal Terwilliger placed second in the 200 back with a time of 2:13.25 and placed third in both the 1,650 free (18:40.07) and the 200 fly (2:14.26).
Ashley Weedman swam well today and finished second for the Lancers in the 100 back with a time of 1:02.66. Weedman also placed third in the 200 back (2:15.05), the 500 free (5:14.29) and the 400 IM (4:58.54).
Hannah Evans also had some notable races, taking second in the 50 free (24.03) and third in the 100 free (53.82).
In the 1M dive, Miranda King scored a 203.85 and Sonata Dalimot scored a 119.92 for CBU. King also scored a 227.02 in the 3M dive and Dalimot finished with a 140.10.
"The team swam very well today and it was a great way to finish before our break", said CBU Head Coach Rick Rowland. "We gave Grand Canyon a close meet, everyone had something to hang their hat on today and we can leave knowing that we left it all in the pool."
