The Lancers defeated the Bobcats 86-57, for the second time this season.
CBU shot better than 50 percent in the game, putting up a season high 86 points. The Lancers' 54.5 percent shooting night was also a season best.
Much of the Lancers' work was done from beyond the arc as the team hit 7 of 17 threes (41.2 percent).
CBU jumped ahead right out of the gate, taking a 47-23 advantage into the half behind 11 first period points from Anthony Cosentino and 10 from Ivan Patterson.
Cosentino led the Lancers on the night with 15 points and Patterson added 14. Luke Evans also reached double figures with 13 points. Patterson was 6 of 7 from the floor, 1 of 1 from beyond the arc.
Anthony Romero led the sharpshooting effort, hitting all three of the long balls he took Saturday. Romero had nine points.
CBU also dominated the boards on the night, out-rebounding UC Merced 40-21. Andrew Fisk snagged a team high nine rebounds.
Griffin Alexander was the only Bobcat to reach double digits with 10 points for the home team.
UC Merced shot just 30.8 percent for the game. The Bobcats fall to 0-10 on the season.
The Lancers head back to Riverside for their next contest, hosting Fresno Pacific on Tuesday for the team's PacWest opener.
