PHOENIX, Ariz. --- A good week got even better Monday for California Baptist University's Ingrid Carmona, as the senior outside hitter was named the PacWest Player of the Week.

The honor comes just days after Carmona broke CBU's career kills record in a win over Holy Names. The conference announced the award for matches contested Nov. 5-11.

Carmona led the Lancers to a 2-0 week by averaging 5.83 points, 0.67 aces, 3.67 digs and 4.83 kills per set. She ranked second in the PacWest in scoring for the week after totaling 35.0 points on 29 kills, four aces, a solo block and two block assists. Carmona was also top 10 in the conference with a .375 hitting percentage, recording her 29 kills on 64 attempts with just five errors.

The career mark came in the second set of CBU's second win on the week, as Carmona passed Verania Willis, moving to 1,880 kills in her time as a Lancer.
