Seconds For Carmona

PHOENIX, Ariz. --- For the second time this season, California Baptist University's Ingrid Carmona was named PacWest Player of the Week, announced the conference media office on Monday.

Carmona led the Lancers to a 2-0 week, getting wins over No. 16 Grand Canyon and Dixie State.

She averaged 4.88 points, 4.38 kills and 4.50 digs per set and totaled 39 points on 35 kills, two aces, a block solo and two block assists. Carmona ranked fifth in scoring, third in kill average, and sixth in digs per set for the week in the PacWest. She totaled 36 digs over her eight sets.

In the Lancers' thrilling five-set victory over Grand Canyon, Carmona put up a 20-kill, 20-dig night for her ninth double-double of the season.

So far on the season she leads the team with 268 kills and 179 digs.
