BRIDGEPORT, Pa. --- California Baptist University men's water polo was ranked No. 17 in the first regular season rankings released by the Collegiate Water Polo Association.

The CWPA released the varsity top 20 rankings on Sept. 5. CBU ended 2011 ranked No. 18 and was ranked No. 19 in the 2012 preseason poll.

The Lancers square off with No. 1 USC tomorrow, Sept. 8, at 10 a.m.

They will also face at least four other teams that are currently ranked in the top 20: No. 10 Loyola Marymount University, No. 16 United States Air Force Academy, No. 19 Concordia University and No. 20 St. Francis University.
