RIVERSIDE --- After the best season in program history, which culminated in the program's first-ever conference and national titles, California Baptist University Women's Soccer Head Coach Kristen St. Clair shows no signs of slowing down.

The Lancers' 17-game slate, which was released today, features a trio of non-conference games as well as a robust 14-game Pacific West Conference slate for the Lancers to defend their conference title against.

"We are very excited to announce our 2012 fall schedule," said St. Clair, the program's all-time leader with 79 career victories in just four seasons at the helm. "It is once again loaded with some of the best NCAA teams in the West Region."

The non-conference portions features a season-opening home game with Cal State Dominguez Hills (Sept. 1), followed by road games at Cal State San Bernardino (Sept. 4) and at NCAA Division III Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Sept. 8).

All three of those teams had non-losing records in 2011.

The Lancers' PacWest title defense begins Sept. 13 at Fresno Pacific in the first of three straight road games against new conference members Holy Names (Sept. 15) and longtime NAIA power Azusa Pacific (Sept. 20).

The first PacWest home game is also against former NAIA power turned PacWest rival Point Loma (Oct. 2), which is the first of five straight PacWest home games in a span of 10 days.

After a two-game swing through the Bay Area at Notre Dame de Namur (Oct. 18) and Dominican (Oct. 20), the Lancers return home to host Dixie State (Oct. 25) and Grand Canyon (Oct. 27).

The regular season concludes at Point Loma (Oct. 30) and at Grand Canyon (Nov. 3).

The NCCAA National Championships are Nov. 28-Dec. 1 in Kissimmee, Fla., with qualifying regional games at a day and time to be determined later in the year.

"As always our goal is to compete every year for conference and national championships, and I firmly believe with our strength of schedule and daily focus on our execution and performance, we'll put ourselves in a position to be successful," St. Clair.

CBU returns 16 players from last year's team that finished an all-time program-best 18-2-1 and also won the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Championship in addition to the PacWest title.
