WAIKOLOA, Hawaii --- California Baptist University tees it up Monday in its first ever PacWest Men's Golf Conference Championship in Waikoloa, Hawaii. The Lancers have been picked to finish fifth in the tournament.
The conference released the predicted order of finish as voted on by the PacWest coaches and reigning conference champs and tournament host Hawaii Hilo has been picked to finish first. The Lancers were fifth in the pre-tournament poll with 57 points.
CBU already has two tournament wins this season, including a victory at the NCCAA Men's Golf National Championship in the fall.
The 10 teams will open play with a shotgun start Monday at 7:30 a.m. (HST) on the Waikoloa Kings' Course at Waikoloa Beach Resort. Play concludes Tuesday.
