• Was a two-time state champion in the 100 yard backstroke, winning in both his junior and senior seasons.
• Was the state runner-up in the 100 yard butterfly as a senior.
• Helped lead Pioneer to a team state championship as a senior.
• Was a 6-time All American selection over his junior and senior seasons.
