RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- The NCCAA released its Women's Basketball All-West Regional team Tuesday and California Baptist University's Myriah Hicks earned second-team honors.

Hicks was one of 10 players from eight schools to be named to the first and second all-region teams. She was the only Lancer honored.

CBU's junior point guard led the team in scoring, assists and minutes per game this season, averaging 14.1 points, 3.2 assists and 30.2 minutes over the course of 26 games this season. Hicks was second in the conference with 159 free throws made, shooting 79.9 percent from the foul line.

She helped lead the Lancers to a 21-5 season this year, finishing second in their inaugural season in the PacWest and earning a berth in the NCCAA National Tournament.

Hicks earned CBU's first ever PacWest Women's Basketball Player of the Week Award this season and has helped the Lancers to the third best burbridge ranking in the NCCAA.
