STANFORD, Calif. --- Facing Division I divers from programs such as Berkeley, UCLA and San Jose State, Trevor Graifman and Jamie Flynn represented California Baptist University and placed at Friday's Stanford Diving Invitational.

Graifman advanced to the finals in the men's 1M Championship and placed third with a final score of 299.30, finishing behind two Stanford divers. Scoring a 295.50 in the preliminaries for fourth place, Graifman overtook Stanford's Noah Garcia for the final spot on the podium and to break up the Cardinal sweep.

Flynn finished fourth in the consolation round of the women's 3M with a final score of 225.75. She scored a 219.80 in the preliminaries.

CBU swimming and diving take on Concordia and Fresno Pacific Saturday in Fresno.
