RIVERSIDE, Calif.--- After going 35-2 with an astonishing 0.59 ERA, Emma Holden is one of two finalists for The Press Enterprise Performer of the Year.

The NAIA Pitcher of the Year will face off with fellow softball player Amanda Lievanos from Redlands University in the final; which will run from Monday, June 13 through Wednesday, June 15. 

Holden overcame an early deficit (albeit it small) to reach the finals over two Lancers and Joirdan Jones from La Sierra University.

The PE Performer of the Year will be awarded to the Inland Empire student-athlete that had the most impressive season, and more importantly receives the most votes.  Show your support by making Holden this year's winner!

Emma Holden – Softball

Holden (35-2) was an integral part of the Lancers season atop the NAIA rankings. 

The National Pitcher of the Year set a CBU record for strikeouts in a season (351), and led the country in three major categories: ERA (0.590), opponent batting avg. (.102), and hits allowed per game (2.98). She is CBU's career strikout leader with 707 Ks in her first three years. 

The San Carlos native saved her best for last, going 5-1 in the postseason with a ridiculously low 0.17 ERA.  Her lone loss came in a complete game one-hitter and she tossed a no-hitter in the opening round of the NAIA Championships.  Vote

Mary Hanson – Women’s Swimming

In just her first season Hanson made waves en route to helping the CBU women win their fifth NAIA Championship. 

The freshman from Ridgecrest, Calif. won an individual NAIA championship and a relay championship, earned six All-American honors, broke four CBU records, swam on four CBU record relay teams, and set two NAIA records.  

Her NAIA record time of 54.66 in the 100-yard backstroke was over two seconds faster than the runner-up. Hanson's Results

Levi Cabral – Men’s Volleyball

After he helped lead the Lancers to their second straight NAIA Championship Cabral was named NAIA/AVCA Player of the Year. 

Cabral averaged 3.91 kills per game, and finished with 414 on the season. 

The all-around star also tallied 50 aces, 129 digs, and 47 blocks in 2011. 

With Cabral’s help CBU defeated reigning NCAA Div. I Champion Stanford in five sets, and helped the Lancers notch wins over three other NCAA Top-15 teams (UC Santa Barbara, UC Irvine, and UC San Diego). Cabral's Results

Eliminated in the first semifinal:

Trevor Graifman - Men’s Swimming

Graifman swept the men’s diving events at the NAIA National Championships to help the swimming and diving team finish national runner-up. 

The junior diver won his third national title, and repeated as the 3-meter board champion. 

The six-time All-American was also named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete on the final day of the Championships. Trevor's Results

Ingrid Carmona – Women’s Volleyball

The sophomore hitter racked up 576 kills on the season to help the Lancers reach the NAIA Quarter finals. 

Carmona, a First-Team NAIA All-American, led the team in double-doubles (14) and finished third in digs (328). 

Carmona had 23 kills and 16 digs in a four-set win over No. 3 Biola on October 30. Ingrid's Results
