• Set the NAIA record and became the National Champion in the 100 yard backstroke at the 2011 NAIA National Championships

• Was a member of the National Champion 800 yard freestyle relay that set the NAIA record

• Was a member of the 200 yard freestyle relay team that placed second at the NAIA National Championships

• Was a member of the 200 yard medley relay team that placed second at the NAIA National Championships

• Finished second in the 100 yard freestyle at the 2011 NAIA National championships

• Recorded the team's fastest times in the 50, 100, and 200 yard free and the 100 yard backstroke 

• Swam the fastest times in the 50 free and 200 IM in the NAIA for the 2010-11 season

• Swam the backstroke and freestyle at Immanuel Christian School under head coach and father, Grant Hanson

• Was a 4-time All-American for the Crusaders and was captain for three seasons

• Majoring in engineering

• Father Grant is an electrical engineer, while her mother Magdalena is an aquatic coordinator

• Her two sisters, Rachel and Lea, also swam for California Baptist

• Has a brother, Joshua

• In her free time she likes to sing and make music
